The gel formed by the high-G alginates is hard but fragile; By contrast, the gel formed by high-M alginates is good flexibility but hardness. Adjusting the two ration, we can produce different strength gel.

Applications:

1.Used for sealing and coating the bottle cap of canned products.

2.No flame retardant, used for coating the food wrap paper and is convenient for burning the waste paper.

3.Rubber concentrating agent, chewing gum bases.
